| Today's Resume Killers |
According to Yahoo, there are 10 phrases that if you use in your resumes today, you will automatically be placed last in consideration for the job. Here are the 10 used-to-be-widly-used but no-longer-in-fashion phrases: - Results-oriented professional - Cross-functional teams - More than [x] years of progressively responsible experience - Superior (or excellent) communication skills - Strong work ethic - Met or exceeded expectations - Proven track record of success - Works well with all levels of staff - Team player - Bottom-line orientation Yahoo pointed out that in today's market, instead of using such "automatic" and cliche words, we should add a human touch to our resumes. It's time I start to write mine. |

Giggling hair time with BB. It was giggling and fun! Jay Chou look-a-like stylist dude who had BB mesmerized. She didn't even bother asking him what colour he was giving her hair! Hello girl, behave! |

| Being Green |
Minn passed these stickers to me which her company designed for World Environment Day. While I happily hold them in my hands (am always excited over stickers!), chubby hubby commented that isn't printing all these a waste of resources which is not green at all. And I guess he's right! Isn't it ironic? Me, for one, tried my best to be green. I recycle papers, cans and plastic bottles by faithfully accumulating them and then bringing them to the recycle bins below my place. I also try to save electricity by switching off all unnecessary appliances. I even unplug my laptop adapter every night cause I read from Yahoo a while back that devices with an internal clock (like laptop and oven), will continue to draw electricity as long as they are plug into the socket, even when turned off. But the ironic thing is, I am guilty of using too much water, especially during bathing. I wastefully allow the water to run for the entire duration of my shower which I really feel guilty about! But I've been doing this since forever and I'm not about to change just because I want to be green. The point is, I can never be like those extremely green people who get featured on TV - they actually save the water from mopping floor to flush the loo and even for flushing, they have fixed schedule whereby flushing is only allowed after 5 usage of the loo (not sure if they make an exception for poo-ing; imagine the first usage is to poo!). But whatever I can do and I feel comfortable doing, I try my best to do it. Doesn't matter that I can't do everything or that my lone effort cannot make the earth more green. I contribute in the small ways that I know how. And take pride in the fact that instead of wasting everything, I am at least doing something. |

| WFH |
The perks of working from home is that you get to do all those housework you've been meaning to do but have no time for. Which also means exposing yourself to the danger of having your fake gel nail fly off in the midst of it. This is exactly what happened to me while I was folding clothes! No idea how it happened. I swear I wasn't even violent! At the end of the clothes-folding session, I only have 7 gel nails left on my hands. I couldn't stand the imperfection of it and I got everything out. These were all that's left. And my nails? Chui. |

| Gathered Together |
BB said it's been a long while since the 3 of us gathered for a single task. For my wedding, BB, MB and the girls gathered. For MB's wedding, BB and me gathered. For BB's wedding, MB and me gathered. Now, for Jess' big day, we actually came together! End note: Working from home from now on. Happy! |

| Bunny For Minn |
I wish I own this super cute bunny. Minn should totally get this and then leash it to work. I bet it'll get even more attention than the dogs. |

| Back From Somewhere |
So our friend Anthony got assigned for a blade training in KL and we went there too on his last 3 days to meet up with him. Reverse steamboat. As in the bbq portion is in the middle surrounded by the soup portion. Having ice-cream in Genting. MB saved my day with her jacket! The bkt that Anthony missed. [This one is for you Anthony.] It was Klang's and it was super yummy! End note: I don't like him or dislike him. But he was the king of pop and he is died. Yesterday, age 50. |

| Minn's New Toy |
Minn has a new toy, courtesy of daddy. The Leica. Look how small it actually is! I once thought of getting the 7k full size version but I must be quite mad to even think about it. Maybe if I push Minn's button, she'll give her minature one to me? Heehee. |

| Our First Roach |
A very unfortunate thing happened to us last night - we encountered our first cockroach at home! Squeeling like 2 adolescent school girls (I kid you not!) and armed with 2 bottles of insecticide (one for me, one for chubby hubby), we began exterminating our unwelcomed guest. In conclusion, bygone is better than shieldtox. |

| Shopping Day |
Bugis Village is a small shopping haven, much like BKK's Siam Square. I haven't done so much brick-and-mortar shopping in a long long long long long long time. My loot. BB got even more things than me! End note: Bitch! Whatever happened to saving money during recession? |

| O Christmas Tree |
Christmas came early for us this year. Wahahahaha! Our wallpaper, on the other hand, will never come. Thanks to a bunch of fools! The company that does our wallpaper is one hell of a huge fuck-up! It's quite a long story to start writing so to cut a long story short, they are just very unprofessional people trying very hard to be professional. And failed terribly. And now, because of a printing glitch which they can't resolve, we are giving up our wallpaper. I thought hacking it into 6 pieces is the worst thing that can happen. But seems like that's just the tip of the iceberg. Damn. |

| Letter To Me |
Dearest me.
For god's sake please stop buying clothes already. We're in a recession, hello! Are you like doing extremely well at work? Huh?
Please wake up your idea Ms Paris Hilton-not. You don't have an endless pocket like hers. Maybe you should try to clear your unworn rack of clothes first.
Love, me.
